EPC Project for a New Transformer Substation for Aurora Kilpilahti

In this turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project, Rejlers was responsible for the electrical engineering of the substation, procurement, the design and construction contracting of the building, and the installation, testing, and readiness for use of all electrical equipment required for electricity distribution. The scope of engineering included electrical engineering as well as the design of the building and building services. Rejlers also acted as the main contractor at the construction site, taking over site management and safety.

– We needed a reliable EPC expert for the project who could implement this demanding project within a tight schedule. Rejlers met our expectations, and the substation was commissioned as agreed according to the original schedule in a cost-effective manner, says Aurora Kilpilahti Oy Development Manager Mike Järvinen.
