JM chooses Rejlers for new residential project in Norway

JM is in the start-up phase of the residential project Granstangen Park at Høybråten, one of the major development projects started in Oslo this year. Rejlers has been commissioned to be responsible for all work regarding electrical construction in the project and will also take on the project planning of phase 2 for the Granitten project within the same area.

In terms of Granstangen Park, JM and Rejlers have entered into an agreement on the first two construction phases and an option on the following three. The work on the residential project, which includes around 400 apartments and a preschool, will continue until 2028. In addition to apartments, the project also includes approx. 9,000 square meters of parking spaces and storage areas.
“We have good experiences of Rejlers from previous collaborations and are also looking forward to cooperating in this project. We focus on developing modern, energy-efficient residential buildings, which also applies here,” says Espen Bjørsvik from JM Norway.

The agreement between JM and Rejlers includes services such as advice and the design of all electrical construction in the project.
“This is one of the major residential projects we are working on now. As with many other projects, it includes technology around "the smart connected home" as well as the installation of charging boxes at the parking spaces," says project manager Bjørn Thorsen at Rejlers Norway.

JM aims to make all its properties 25% more energy efficient than average. This also applies to Granstangen Park, where the combination of low energy consumption and intelligent technical solutions, such as the ability to control the lighting in the home, contributes to making the apartments attractive.

Rejlers is at the forefront of the development of smart connected buildings, with a focus on quality, user-friendliness, energy consumption and profitability.
"In the current situation with high electricity prices, intelligent solutions to reduce consumption have become much more important for both property developers and end users. We tailor projects according to the needs of the developers and participate in all phases of the contract to ensure that ordering, quality and delivery creates added value for both owners and users,” says Stian Skarpnord, Head of division Buildings in Rejlers Norway.
