Rejlers strategic partner as Finnish electricity network distributor Kajave carries out its largest project

As a strategic partner to Finnish electricity network distributor Kajave Oy, Rejlers delivers technical expertise in areas such as power lines, substations and distribution networks. During the spring Kajave has started its largest investment project for distribution networks in the company's history, the Strömsö project, where Rejlers is responsible for project management, site monitoring, security coordination and documentation.
The Strömsö project will run for a couple of years and is part of Kajave's investment programme to improve the low and medium voltage network in the Kainuu region of Finland. At the same time, the project will bring economic value to the region in the form of increased employment.
"We have worked together effectively since before and now this project has also got off to an exemplary start. We expect an active and development-oriented partnership," says Jenny Martiskainen, project manager at Kajave.
"Kajave has been investing heavily in improving the reliability of the electricity grid for several years, and will continue to do so. It is inspiring to participate in this project that is important for society," says Jani Viljakainen, Business Area Manager for Powersystems at Rejlers in Finland.
