Rejlers acquires Norwegian Railconsult

Rejlers acquires the Norwegian consulting company Railconsult with 20 employees. The company offers technical consulting services in the transport sector. The acquisition is a natural step in Rejlers' ongoing expansion in Norway.

“There is a great demand for Railconsult's expertise in both Sweden and Norway. The company has had a strong growth and profitability in recent years. The acquisition is an important step to further enhance and continue to build our expertise in infrastructure in the Nordic countries,” says Eva Nygren, President and CEO at Rejlers.

“Rejlers and Railconsult complement each other's expertise in a very good way and we look forward to be a part of such an exciting and innovative group. We also look at the change as new opportunities for the company which will enable us to offer our customers a wider range of consulting services,” says Dagfinn Berge, President at Railconsult.

Railconsult was founded in 2003. The company's major customers are found in both the public and private sectors. Railconsult works with everything from planning to commissioning and testing of railway, metro and tram. In 2012 Railconsult had a revenue of NOK 23 million.
