Rejlers’ expertise helps make the Gyproc factory in Fredrikstad, Norway, fossil-free.

When producing gypsum plasterboards you need a lot of energy for the calcination and drying process. Up until now, the Gyproc factory in Fredrikstad in Norway has used natural gas as the source of energy for this process. In an innovative project, the factory’s owner Glava is planning a switch to green, electric power in 2023.

CONTRIBUTING TO THE CREATION OF A NEW SUSTAINABLE CITY DISTRICT IN NORRKÖPING

In Norrköping, Sweden, a new sustainable city district is now emerging – The Inner Harbour (Inre Hamnen). The transformation is underway, from polluted industrial quay to an attractive urban environment with a strong sustainability mindset. The Inner Harbour is estimated to have about 3,000 homes, hundreds of workplaces and a variety of activities: schools, shops, restaurants and cafés.

INCREASED ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION CAPACITY AT KILPILAHTI

Turn-key EPC delivery of a new substation for the largest chemical industrial park in the Nordics.

Aurora Infrastructure is an electricity network partner specializing in owning and operating critical industrial electricity networks for which extreme reliability is a prerequisite. Rejlers was chosen as contractor for the turn-key delivery of Aurora’s new substation in the important Kilpilahti industrial area, located in Porvoo, Finland. The aim was to increase capacity and maintain high reliability of the electricity distribution in this large chemical industrial park, meeting future requirements of Aurora’s customers.

CASE: BANE NOR DRAMMENSBANEN
PLANNING FOR MORE TRAINS

Modernising one of Norway’s busiest railway lines will further increase capacity.

The railway infrastructure is crucial for a sustainable future. As a part of its modernisation, the public railway infrastructure authority Bane NOR is currently upgrading Norway’s entire railway network to the common European digital signalling system ERTMS. The new system will be more efficient and enable more trains per day on the same railway line.
