Rejlers signs contract with Tritech about automatic reading of electricity meters

The Rejler Group company, Rejlers Energitjänster AB, signs a co-operation contract with Tritech Technology AB who specializes in wireless systems. The contract enables Tritech and Rejlers to together offer energy companies and real-estate companies automatic reading of electricity meters.

 

The Swedish Parliamentary decision in 2003, that all electricity consuming customers, in 2009 at the latest, will pay for their actual electricity consumption raises new demands on the electricity companies' reading of meters. The possibilities of remote reading have become more interesting for the electricity companies in their work. Tritech and Rejlers now offer an overall solution where the electricity company receives its customers' electricity consumption via web or in an electronic file whenever they want. Tritechs' communication equipment sends the values from the electricity meter to Rejlers who compile and then forward the values to the electricity company.

 

Rejlers' meter reading services was recently elected second best in Sweden by Svenska kraftnät. Tritechs solution MeshNET is a very interesting solution because it automatically adapts to the radio conditions on the installation location, explains Tommy Palm, Managing Director of Rejlers Energitjänster AB.
