Rejlers designs a new metro line in Helsinki

The Rejler Group Company Rejlers Oy has received a large order when the new Western Metro line is being built that will link together the cities of Helsinki and Espoo. The client Länsimetro Oy (Western Metro limited) is building a 13 kilometer metro line with seven new stations. The project is the largest infrastructure project ever in Finland and will be completed at the end of 2013.

 

The order value for Rejlers is around SEK 11 million. In the project Rejlers will be the head of design and construction and also be responsible for the supervision of the electricity, the signal system and the telephone network. The signal system of the metro will be automatized. Rejlers' project partner will be Sweco CMU who is responsible for project management.
