Rejlers energy certifies buildings in Norway

Rejlers Norwegian associates Rejlers Consulting has been commissioned to energy certify properties in Hamar. Local authority hopes that the project will lead to financial savings and an improved environment.

Hamar municipality has a large property portfolio. In total there are 46 municipal buildings, covering an area of 13 600 square meter, to be included in the survey. Rejlers will inspect the buildings and provide a report with suggestions on how to make them more energy efficient.

- We can see both environmental and economic benefits when working with energy efficiency of our buildings. With such a broad and diverse property portfolio the potential to save should be great, says Arne Arnesen, head of Construction management in Hamar.

The contract is worth 500 000 NOK. The project will begin in October. Rejlers has close to 200 employees in Norway and has recently opened an office in Hamar.
