Rejlers signs agreement with Norwegian Church Aid

Rejlers Embriq signs an agreement with Norwegian Church Aid for delivery of the Valo Intranet for Office 365. As one of the Nordic region's largest aid organizations with work in countries where infrastructure is not always available, there is a demand for more seamless interaction between staff and offices around the world. Rejlers Embriq has provided IT services to Norwegian Church Aid for many years through agreements for IT operations that have been extended several times. Now the agreement is expanding with future-oriented IT tools to help improve interaction.

Valo Intranet and Office 365 provide very good interaction
"Norwegian Church Aid has decided to use Valo Intranet together with Office 365, to create a modern, user-friendly and effective tool for interaction," says Morten V. Eriksen, Teamlead SharePoint in Rejlers Embriq.
"Our partnership with Valo enables us to offer an easy-to-use intranet solution with modular infrastructure that Norwegian Church Aid will integrate with its existing systems. The solution includes news publishing, social hub, blogs, video, events, idea management and much more. This is a forward-looking solution that is 100 percent integrated with Office365, with over 300,000 users worldwide, Eriksen says.

Most assistance under extreme conditions
“Norwegian Church Aid works to create safe and resilient communities to protect and save the lives of people living in extreme poverty, fragility and emergencies in the best and most efficient way possible,” says Norwegian Church Aid IT Manager , Bjørn Are Geithus.
“We often work under difficult conditions with limited resources and sometimes a lack of infrastructure. In these situations, well-functioning multisite interaction is important to help enable our employees to best do their jobs,” Geithus says.

About the agreement
The agreement includes implementation, operation and management of the Valo Intranet for Norwegian Church Aid’s 500+ users that are located around the world in over 20 field offices. The scheduled start-up will be before the summer break with the full-scale intranet solution launching mid-September 2017.
