Rejlers recruits in the Finnish railway sector

At the end of last year, Rejlers in Finland signed a significant framework agreement for services in the railway sector with FTIA (Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency), the Finnish equivalent of the Swedish Transport Administration. Rejlers currently has more than 120 technical experts in the field of rail, but to meet the increased demand during the contract period with FTIA, the company is now investing in a major new recruitment in the rail sector.

The framework agreement extends over a two-year period with the possibility of extension until the end of 2024, which means that FTIA will be able to order services from Rejlers for five years. Rejlers has been cooperating with FTIA for several years and the agreement offers services covering safety, electric railways and railway construction.

"Rejlers has had excellent results in the comparisons with other framework agreement partners, both in current agreements and in the past, and that is no coincidence," says Erkki Mäkelä, FTIA’s Regional Director for Construction in Southern Finland.

“We need more technical experts in this industry. Right now we are looking for both senior and junior consultants as well as trainees who want to get involved in our projects in the railway sector”, says Kristian Uusitalo, CBO of Rejlers traffic route operations in Finland.
