Rejlers expands in wind park monitoring

Rejlers expands its services to the booming wind power sector with monitoring services 24/7. Through the acquisition of the Finnish Loiste Group's wind monitoring business, Rejlers can now help customers across the Nordic region in the energy transition, where major investments are being made in wind power.
“Through our monitoring centre in Kajaani, Finland, we can help customers in all the Nordic countries. The energy transition and movement to renewable energy entail major investments in wind power in the Nordic region. Securing safe connections is critical and we support our customers in this area," says Timo Holmberg, VP Energy & Infrastructure, Rejlers Finland.
Kajave, which is part of the Loiste Group, outsourced its monitoring centre in Kajaani to Rejlers earlier this year. The monitoring centre plans and leads the energy network connections and ensures the grid reliability 24/7. The now acquired wind monitoring business currently encompasses monitoring of 14 wind parks. Rejlers can now offer monitoring services to additional wind parks from the monitoring centre in Kajaani.

There are synergies between the monitoring of wind parks and the power grid, and these will benefit all parties," says Timo Jutila, Managing Director of Kajave and heading Loiste’s grid operations.
Rejlers has extensive knowledge of the Finnish power grid and wind power sector and has collaborated with 60 out of 80 power grid companies and one third of the total wind power production in Finland.
