Rejlers Embriq enters agreement with Dolphin Drilling

Dolphin Drilling and Fred Olsen & Co. have signed a joint service agreement with Rejlers Embriq for the hosting of the companies' IT-platform and provision of IT-services, delivered through the mCloud concept from Rejlers Embriq.

Rejlers Embriq has provided IT-services for Fred Olsen & Co. since 2014. Dolphin Drilling, a part of Fred Olsen Energy ASA, is now included in the new agreement. A joint service agreement provides the basis for a long-term cost savings through operations, aligned services and solutions on a shared IT-infrastructure.

The agreement was signed in November 2017, and will be fully operational from June 2018. The delivery from Rejlers Embriq includes a full range of services delivered from mCloud, a hybrid platform for advanced IT-services such as infrastructure operations, management and operation of applications, security solutions, client operations and service centre and support.

The agreement also includes Rejlers Embriqs new intuitive self-service portal, mPoint, who will be launched against all request for support and changes. This will ensure a closer and more effective dialogue between the users within the Fred Olsen companies and Rejlers Embriq, making the workday easier for users.

About Dolphin Drilling
The Dolphin Drilling companies form the drilling contracting business activities of Fred. Olsen Energy ASA. The company’s offshore activities are operated from their offices in Aberdeen, Scotland and Stavanger, Norway. In addition, they have an office in Singapore. Dolphin Drilling is one of the longest established independent drilling contracting companies in the offshore arena tracing its roots back to the earliest offshore exploration activity in the North Sea in the mid nineteen sixties. The Fred Olsen family’s interest pre-dates this with a history in shipping activity stretching over 160 years.
