Rejlers creates the office of the future in Gårda Vesta – Gothenburg's new landmark

Rejlers in Gothenburg has moved into a new modern office space in Gårda Vesta. Platzer's new office high-rise Gårda Vesta in Gothenburg is a new landmark in the city and the first WELL-certified building where great focus has been placed on well-being and health in the workplace. On floor 21-23, Rejlers has shaped the smart office of the future, where creative meeting places and new technical solutions contribute to increased flexibility, productivity and security.

Since the pandemic, the offices and the image of our workplaces have changed. The trend is towards increased flexibility where we will continue to work flexibly and remotely, and where we go from workplace to meeting place.

"With our vision Home of the learning minds as starting point, we have created a flexible future office in Gårda Vesta where we can constantly grow and where creative meetings, knowledge exchanges and a feeling of being at home are in focus. Right now, we are looking for new employees in all our areas of expertise," says Jan Bengtsson, Head of Rejlers Office in Gothenburg.

"The employees of the future want the opportunity to decide how the workplace should function and where and how best to do their work. As a technology consultant, we have chosen technical solutions in our office that are at the forefront of development and facilitate our work," continues Jan Bengtsson.

For example, Rejlers has installed a biometric visitor and passage control system based on facial recognition and so-called "heat mapping" via the sensors in the luminaires, which helps to reduce energy costs, improve flexibility and use of the premises.

Rejlers established itself in Gothenburg back in the 1950s and played a key role in providing the Gothenburg shipbuilding industry with power and also played a major role in building the industry itself, including with the construction of shipyards. Then as now, the ability to constantly learn new things to be involved in building society has been in focus.

"Gothenburg is a city in strong growth and we see the entire region as interesting, not least from a community building perspective where our engineering skills continue to be in demand. Throughout our history, we have always been able to offer relevant expertise at the absolute forefront of technology to our customers," says Jenny Edfast, CEO of Rejlers Sweden.
