Rejlers contributes to qualified work opportunities for the newly arrived

Tillväxtverket, the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth, has granted financial support for a feasability study towards creating employment within the Railway industry for newly arrived individuals through education. The assignment is being carried out by Rejlers AB in cooperation with Nässjö Näringsliv AB / Nordic Infracenter.

The study aims at analyzing and creating new comprehensible models for employability and employment matching based on employer demands and needs. These models will play a vital role in finding the most suited individuals for future employment after having finished the courses. The study will also provide a knowledge base for future projects toward different fields of work.

“To get to work together with the industry and the community in order to create work-proud qualified workers from out of work, newly arrived individuals is a great honor. Together we can see how we as Rejlers contribute to societal development as well as giving newly arrived individuals a better chance to a brighter future”, states Martin Ångman consultant at Rejlers.

“By creating qualified employees through applying stream-lined educational concepts, we are contributing to a sustainable development of society and to the regrowth of a qualified workforce within the industry”, states Lisa Rejler Investor Relations & CSR manager at Rejlers.

Rejlers recently were appointed by the Swedish Transport Administration to develop a similar educational concept for newly arrived engineers. More projects are to start in the near future and the concept as such will be developed further within the Railway field as well as towards other industries.
