Rejlers secures framework agreement with Agder Energi group

Agder Energi, with its companies Agder Energi Nett, Agder Energi Vannkraft and Agder Energi Varme, has signed a framework agreement with Rejlers Norway for engineering consultancy services. The contract runs for two years, with an option for a further two plus one years, and has a value of around NOK 125 million.

The agreement covers, among other things, engineering consultancy services within Electrical power, Electrical engineering, Energy, Surveying and documentation and also Construction and environment.

“Rejlers has been an important supplier of engineering consultancy services to Agder Energi for a number of years in connection with expansion and maintenance of technical infrastructure. Rejlers aims to lead the way in the digitalisation of electrical power. The market for Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) is currently being rolled out, and all companies in Norway will have two-way communication with the network by 2019. Rejlers is already dominant in this field in Norway thanks to the acquisition of Embriq. Agder Energi Nett owns and operates the regional and distribution power network in the two Agder counties, with a total of 20,900 km of lines and cables. Agder Energi Varme supplies district heating and district cooling to Grimstad, Arendal and Kristiansand.   The company currently supplies district heating to over 190 public and private buildings.
