Rejlers offers legal expertise for community builders

Expertise in legal issues can save both time and money. Rejlers is now offering legal advice as a separate service directly to our customers who are building the Nordic region.

“There are many laws and regulations in our sector that we have to be aware of. At times, a single word can be the difference between right and wrong, between having to pay damages and an assignment that is completed on time and is profitable,” says Lennart Karlsson, Business Manager ICT at Rejlers Sweden.

Rejlers has a total of three lawyers and two paralegals (legal assistants) working as a group. They work with issues related to contract law, property law, environmental law, construction contract law and public procurement. At present, the group is working on assignments for customers in fields such as telecommunications and the public sector. These assignments are often complex, with numerous land-owners involved, where it is important to understand property law, environmental legislation or what happens when ancient monuments are discovered during excavations, for example.

“As far as I am aware, not even the very largest technology consultants offer legal advice. Our existing customers are extremely satisfied that Rejlers has its own legal expertise, and we now want to reach out to more,” says Emma Grimlund, legal adviser at Rejlers Sweden.
