Rejlers joins the Beyond Skiing Foundation

In the Swedish town of Falun, work on planning the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships has already begun. Now Rejlers has become a member of the Beyond Skiing Foundation, a business network which supports and promotes the activities leading up to the world championships.
The Beyond Skiing Foundation is a business network in which companies both large and small work together side by side with local authorities and other organizations. The network is made up of more than 400 partners. By joining the network, Rejlers hopes to be able to make new business contacts and to expand its own network locally within the region and also nationally and internationally.
“We are also taking part to demonstrate our strong commitment to healthy activities. At Rejlers there is a great deal of interest in health issues and, in particular, in cross-country skiing. Every year several teams from the company take part in the StafettVasan cross-country ski relay race, for example,” says Conny Udd, CEO of Rejlers Sweden.
Around thirty consultants work for Rejlers in Borlänge. In addition to its membership of the Beyond Skiing Foundation, Rejlers is also contributing its transport planning expertise to the project. The Nordic Ski World Championships coincide with a busy period on the roads when winter holiday traffic is passing through Dalarna county. In order to manage the situation successfully, careful planning and logistics are required. Among other things, Rejlers is responsible for all the transport arrangements for the cross-country ski competitors from the day they arrive in Sweden to the day they leave.
