Rejlers helps the city of Vasa to become carbon-neutral

One of the subareas of the programme is to improve energy efficiency and here, energy auditing is an essential component. Collaboration with the city of Vasa was initiated in 2015 when Rejlers did energy audits of six of the city's buildings. Now, the task has been extended to include energy audits of Vasa's swimming baths, the City of Vasa's government offices, Vasa's City Theatre and three schools.

"Energy audits in municipalities and cities often result in substantial savings in energy consumption which means the benefits of the audits greatly exceed the costs even during the first year," says Business Unit Director Veijo Pitkäniemi, Rejlers Oy.
