Rejlers contributes to Turku University Hospital expansion

Rejlers has been commissioned to design all systems for electric power, lighting, telecom and security when Turku University Hospital builds a new 54,000 m² hospital site. The hospital will be built by Hospital District of Southwest Finland.

The aim of the project is to create a hospital with a safe and healthy hospital environment for patients and staff, with as little environmental impact as possible. The hospital is being built to house specialized medical care for children, maternity services and ENT. The new hospital will be built above the Helsinki motorway.

- The project is one of Finland's largest and most modern hospital projects. Rejlers' leading engineering expertise in the Turku region and our long experience in hospital projects were important selection criteria for winning the assignment, tells Business Area Director Timo Tenninen.
