Rejlers acquires Eneas' Swedish operations Energy Business Sweden

Rejlers acquires 100 per cent of the shares in Energy Business Sweden AB, the Swedish operations of Eneas Energy AB. Energy Business Sweden offers energy-efficient services that ensure lower energy consumption for properties and municipalities. This acquisition will enhance our expertise within the areas of energy and the environment.

Energy Business Sweden currently has 11 employees and annual revenue of SEK 30 million. Its activities include energy services within energy efficiency, energy monitoring, consultancy and energy metering. The Swedish government has set a target to reduce energy consumption by 20 per cent by 2020, which has increased the demand for energy-efficient services.

“Through this acquisition, we can offer more energy-efficient solutions and handle bigger and more far-reaching assignments, completely in line with Rejlers' strategy. We can take on more responsibility throughout the entire chain of energy services, from strategic issues to collecting meter readings and analysis,” says Jan Svensson, Managing Director of Rejlers Energitjänster and head of marketing for Rejlers Sweden.

“We see huge benefits to joining a large organisation with substantial resources in terms of skills, branding and customer contacts. We also see working within a company with a clear focus on energy as a major benefit. Together we will become an even stronger player in the area of technical energy services,” says Fredrik Andersson, head of Energy Business Sweden AB.
