Morten Thorkildsen is the new CEO of Rejlers in Norway

After leading one of the largest IT companies in Norway Morten Thorkildsen is now looking forward to working with technical consulting services from a different perspective.

“It will be exciting to collect Rejlers' operations in Norway under the same roof and to manage the development of the business. We will focus on establishing and developing Rejlers to be a major technical consultancy in the Norwegian market. The fact that I like Rejlers' core values and the people I have met has been decisive in the choice of new employment,” says Morten Thorkildsen.

“Morten has extensive experience leading technical companies that operate in an international market. He is also used to a Nordic perspective when it comes to customer relations and operations, which I think will be of great benefit for Rejlers in the future,” says Rejlers' President and CEO Eva Nygren.

Morten Thorkildsen has held several positions at IBM since 1986. After a short break ten years ago, he returned to IBM and became CEO of the company's operations in Norway. Morten Thorkildsen is often engaged as a lecturer and regularly writes columns. He is a board member of The Norwegian Computer Society and was awarded “IT manager of the year” in 2006.

Rejlers started its operations in Norway in 2009. Today, the business consists of several engineering consultants that will now be grouped under a common Norwegian management.
