Rejlers involved in planning Finnair's new head office - HOTT

The Construction project at Finnair’s head office at Helsinki Airport, started in January 2012. Ilmarinen (authorized pension insurance company) acted as the real estate constructor. Lausamo Oy, member of Rejlers Finland, was responsible for electrification, lighting, telecom and security systems design.

The building is called HOTT: House of Travel and Transportation, and it compiles all of Finnair Group’ functions for the first time under one roof. Building’s life cycle is designed to be a hundred years rather then fifty years.

HOTT’s architecture is designed by Helin & Co Architects.  Layout of this seven storey office building resembles a three-pitch propeller. The building complex contains office premises and parking facility. It has a floor area of about 65.000 square meters. The majority of the office facilities in HOTT will be occupied by Finnair.

HOTT is designed to meet the international LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards. The LEED rating indicates the building’s energy efficiency and environmental compatibility. In this construction the new energy regulations are also taken into account, and it is classified as the best energy class A.
